CALL ME CARM

I am currently in my senior year at Duke University, majoring in International Comparative Studies and Linguistics and pursuing a certificate in Decision Sciences. Though Durham has become quite a home to me these past couple years, I am originally from Tempe, Arizona. That being said, I spend as much time as I can traveling— and chronicling said travels. Sometimes that’s through writing, sometimes through photography, and sometimes through extensive emails to my mom (I would consider myself an artist of these many mediums). My most recent excursion was a semester abroad in Rome, Italy, where my focus was on the Italian language and European policy. Check out my photography page for evidence, or my published works page for links to my Temple University Culture and Identity Envoy Program blogs! Currently I am working as a journalist for the Durham based publication The 9th Street Journal and getting to know my home away from home a bit better by the day.
